Carolina Homeschooler was created in 2004 to increase communication and support for South Carolina's Third Option homeschoolers. (Third Option homeschoolers are those who choose to register through an accountability association which operates under Section 59-65-47 of the SC Code of Laws.)

We also welcome the participation of homeschoolers in other areas, and families from across the United States and Canada often participate in our group trips, events, and online community. Our goal is to help you succeed in your homeschool journey by providing information and services that will enhance your experience.

In South Carolina, we work with participating associations (listed on the right) to improve the homeschool experience for member families.
