Biltmore Estate Day Trip
August 20, 2014
Registration Deadline: July 26

What we're doing...
Join us on August 20 for a day trip to Biltmore Estate! We'll tour the house and gardens, and see displays of vintage clothing, art, furniture, 16th-century tapestries, a library with 10,000 volumes, a banquet hall with a 70-foot ceiling, 65 fireplaces, an indoor pool, and a bowling alley.

Then we'll enjoy a buffet lunch together (included in the price) and visit Biltmore's Antler Hill Village, where we can tour the winery and the farm. We'll see blacksmiths, woodworkers, and other craft demonstrations; shop in an old-fashioned mercantile store offering Appalachian crafts, dry goods, and candy; enjoy turn-of-the-century games and farm-friendly animals at the farmyard, and more.

Carolina Homeschooler members will have priority when registering for this event. I'll keep a waiting list and will add non-members if space is available. See our membership area for more information about becoming a member.

Cost and what's included...
The cost is $25 for ages 4 and under, $49 for ages 5-16, and $99 for ages 17 and up.

This covers admission to the house and gardens, Antler Hill Village, a buffet lunch, and round-trip bus transportation from Lancaster SC (and a pick-up in the Spartanburg area along the way).

Non-members will be added on a space-available basis for an additional $15 per person.

Cancellation policy and refunds...
Payment is refundable only if I have a family on my waiting list to replace you, and a $25 per person cancellation fee will be deducted from all refunds. No replacements, roster changes, or refunds will be made after July 26, 2014.

Your signed waiver and payment acknowledges that you understand and agree with my cancellation and refund policy.

This event may be cancelled if we don't have enough participants to meet the minimum required. If it's cancelled, you'll receive a full refund.

Want to go?
Full payment is due within 7 days of the date I confirm your registration. (I'll send you a confirmation email with payment instructions.)

After you complete the registration form, you'll receive an automated notification that it posted correctly. This email does not confirm your space on this trip - it just confirms that your registration went through correctly. Please email me if you have any questions or don't receive your automated email within 30 minutes of registering.

(I use the same registration form for many of my trips and events. Please make sure you choose the correct event on the form and complete all required fields.)

Important Notes
Carolina Homeschooler members have priority for this event. Non-members will be wait-listed until after the registration deadline and will be added if spots are still available.

Your payment is due within 7 days of my registration confirmation email. Please don't register until you can pay this deposit.

I accept checks, bank checks, and BillPay through your bank. I can't accept PayPal or credit cards (credit card checks are fine).

Homeschoolers in other states are welcome to join us.

We'll depart Lancaster at 6:00 am, and will return around 9:00 pm.

No food or drinks are allowed on the bus, so make sure you eat breakfast before you arrive. We'll stop for dinner on the way back to Lancaster.

Refunds are not guaranteed. Please read my payment and refund policy carefully before you register and mail payment.
