Homeschool Days at Old Salem Museums &
Gardens
Join Old Salem Museums & Gardens on February 24 and 26, from 9:30 am
to 4:30 pm for a gastronomic journey back to the 18th and early 19th
centuries. Find out how food was procured, prepared and preserved in
the past. Learn hearthside cooking techniques, discover the flavors

BubbleWrap® Competition for Young
Inventors
Sealed Air Corporation and The National Museum of Education are
proud to announce the fourth annual BubbleWrap® Competition for
Young Inventors for grades 5-8. This innovative contest incorporates
national and state academic standards in the fields of engineering
design, problem-solving, entrepreneurship and all of the core
curricular subjects. The deadline to enter is March 3, and

Dinosaurs:
Mesozoic Monsters!
The SC State Museum invites you to their robotic exhibit, Dinosaurs:
Mesozoic Monsters. Museum guests will discover firsthand life
beyond the mists of prehistory, when monsters walked the earth. This
6,500 square foot exhibit features moving, roaring, fleshed-out
robotic creatures along with other hands-on activities to engage and
enlighten visitors during their prehistoric journey. This exhibit

Big Red Ticket
Concerts
The Music Foundation of Spartanburg's "Big Red Ticket" outreach
program provides Kindergarten through 12th Grade students with a
voucher to attend a performance of any of six concerts free of
charge. Remaining concerts include: The
Soldier's Tale on February 20 at 7:00 pm, featuring The Spartanburg
Little Theatre and Ballet Spartanburg; and Miniatures & Masterpieces
on April 10 at 7:00 pm, featuring Sopranos Katie Agocs and Becky

The Culture and Heritage Museums is a linked system of cultural
institutions in York County, SC, which includes Historic
Brattonsville, McCelvey Center, Museum of York County, the Future
