HINTS Book Fair
The 19th Annual HINTS Book Fair will be held on July 16-17 at Christ
Covenant Church in Matthews, NC. Homeschool vendors will be
available, as well as many workshops on different aspects of
homeschooling. For more information, email

"Teaching Your
Middle Schooler" Conference
Homeschoolers (parents only) are invited to a conference in Raleigh,
NC, targeted to teaching middle school students. The conference will
be held on Saturday, July 10, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and will focus
on how to best support children in their early adolescence
(approximately 11-14 year olds). They have speakers from the
Departments of Education from both NC State and UNC-Chapel Hill, as
well as from the Talent Identification Program at Duke University,
and are pursuing additional speakers from other Triangle educational
