If its choclate count me in! Geesh I have had a day....Riley wanted to be stubborn from the go finally got him through the paces then husband came home with day off is it Thursday...no honey...just switched days...ok...walked into the bed frame not once but twice and ankle swollen like a grapefruit....then run to doctors office to get RX and drop off...sit at Pharmacy watching through the window as only person in there chats away on phone....after 5 minutes(why does 5 min seem like forever when you are late?)...bang on window.....then I am late to pick up daughter from school...pull in by the ball field and a motorcycle-cop is behind me when I get out of car....I think gee what bush was he behind...I am late...to meet child and will make me late to meet friend who is giving me a check for something I got for her Half...cause she has a hair appt...was i speeding yes!.....not in a School zone and really not that much, cause he didn't even mention that fact....but it gets better, cop says did you know your tag is expired....uhhh...NO!!.....Liscense & Registration PLZ....well I don't have registration....WHY? someone stole it out of my car.....in my yard.....he says someone stole a piece of paper....well no they stole my leather manual thingy, which had it in there....ok....Proof of Insurance.....pull that out and Yes...guess what....EXPIRES on wait.....AUg, 24, geeshh....so maybe I did get the letter...where did I put it:rolleyes2 ....By now I am trying to decide which i should do laugh or cry:cry: or scream!!! Laughed and told him well I guess I should thank you for stopping me....but could you keep the ticket....NO....So I said thank you(wishing i was 22 again...never got tickets then) and then said no not Thank you, I take that back...now he is laughing...but I still have the blue slip!! So now have to rush to friends and pray i don't get another ticket by the time I get home to change cars(Can you get two tickets for the same thing in one DAY??):doubt: come home....dig through my stuff to unearth the tax bill, that yes I forgot to pay...hobble up to the courthouse and walk all those blasted steps to pay the taxes its 4:00 by now...call the Insurance and say can you take a payment over phone....Thank you very much MasterCard!! I guess it could of been much worse...could of broke ankle....like I didn't try!!And did I mention supper was cooking while all this was going on...squash doesn't really taste that bad carmelized!!!:shock: SO anyway supper was fine...field peas did not burn....my FAv...lol

SO How was your DAY? fine....GREAT.....PASS ME THAT POUNDCAKE AND IF NEEDED....I brought my own choclate cream sauce:biggrin2: Yes....I'm the one with the ice bag!!

TTFN....hubby just made it all better HOT doughnuts!!:wave:

I hope that you are in bed by now! :shock: Was that just one day or the whole week? :eek: I will say a prayer for you, and hopefully, I will hear of a better days events tomorrow. :eusa_pray You should send todays journal to Laugh In, or late night-Sat night, or something. Our country would benefit from a skit about your one day. :eusa_wall Most of us only experience that kind of turmoil, maybe in a month.

Okay....update if anyone cares...hehe

School was funny today and no fuss!! I DID not leave the house, till pick up time...put on my dark shades and hat, just kidding!! But I was periscoping down the street to school thinking of hanging the tax receipt out the window if a bush moved!!..........Pulled into field...checked behind me...all clear!!! Ducked into back of school and learned against the wall...Phew!! Halfway Home!!
.....went in the Office to chat up the Secretary and return a book for neighbor from 3 years ago....she told me another mother got stopped yesterday and she got....wait for it......A WARNING!!!!!!!! Okay....I am going on a diet and there might be some makeup around here somewhere....looking under bed....nope two cats and a my gosh is that alive....Oh never mind!..........Leave school and dare I brave a fast run for fast food....cause I am NOT going near that stove today! Cell phone.....ringing.....hubby....where are u...going to the drug store.....my pacemaker is going off back to back five times and I looked at the bottle and it is not my betapase...which regulates my heart....I am What!!!...Don't tell me this when I am driving!!! He called the druggist...and they said please return script..its not what you need...no DUH!! We will give you what you are suppose to have and refund and not charge you for the meds....you think they made a mistake....I said well what did they give you....I don't know....WELL I would of screamed what the heck did ya'll give me!!.....
So not tooo much drama today or maybe yes....but then it's not over yet:biggrin2: !!
Safely back in the house if you hadn't guessed with shades drawn and not leaving again....So if ya need me I'm here.....any more cake....i was thinking...I will bring my choclate chip cheesecake tomorrow.....K:aniflower

Welcome to the forums!! I have been slightly under the weather to put it mildly...so my chatting has been suffering along with my red nose, headache, sore throat,coughing and sneezing like crazy....Human faucet here!

But...I am sure we can be good friends too!! Have often been told I have a dry wit...kinda wet at the moment though...

My Day today>>>Woke up to hubby....freaking out because he locked his keys in his car....well since it is his Demo(car salesman) we have no backup key and he works about 40 miles from home....so....he is suppose to be at the doctor at yeah..right then....so call his buddy the locksmith....and says can I drive your car....sure go ahead....well....my car goes GLUGH...and he says did you leave the lights on....ahhh...no....my battery is DEAD!!! By now his blood pressure is off the charts....neighbor...trys to jump...no jump....I have returned to my bed to bury my head!! Cause movement sends shooting pain through my temples and the room spins! Next he is asking me where the long orange extension cord is for the charger...like it isn't always in the same place!! OK...he gets car started and off he goes..I come back inside...now I have to get dressed to greet the Locksmith...so I am trying to lock front door back and you know how you turn a deadbolt with the key, well the key just goes all the way around...I am hallucenating now, I know I misspelled that, but, its hard to type and spell with tissue ...never mind....too much info....

I call hubby, whats up with the door lock...beats me..get Grant to check that too!! Now I am dying to crawl back under the covers...anyway...My ex shows up about this time and I am reminded that I have got to pay the electric bill this day...or lights out....SO...now I have no car and no way to go to bank to cash checks....not that driving would be a smart thing to do in my present condition. I call hubby again...are you going to work today? Well I was suppose too, but if I don't make it by 12:00, was told to take the day instead of thursday, and so, what is it now....well can you please pay the electric bill, but I have to go cash this check, so you can...he finally gets home and we go to bank...and back across town to the pay station at the Pig and guess what? the Piggly Wiggly office is closed for remodeling....now give me a break...its a booth in the grocery store...what the heck do they have to remodel? My hubby gets back in car and I look at him and burst out laughing....I said...Do you get the feeling someone is trying to send us a message...he said yeah...Go Back To BED!!! He gets on the phone and calls CP&L to find out where else you can pay the bill...cause I have no clue, the only other place I know has closed down(Winn Dixie)!!

He gets a location and I say...Please:cry: can I go HOME!! I go crawl back in bed and he is off again! OK my eyes are crossing...there are a few more things that happened but...you get the idea...Life is Stranger than Fiction!

I will be fine as long as the Kleenex doesn't run out!!

Feel so bad, don't even think CHOCLATE would help!!:doubt:

No never a dull second....and tomorrow I am have to knit up a mouse toy present for a Kitten Shower....too silly but....my last kitten is going to a new home and the girl who is adopting it, Aunt & Mom want to give her a shower...okay I have known them since I was 7, and this is our silliness at its best!! Sould be a Hoot!! It's a surprise for the new mom of the kitten...she is probably going to think we have lost it!! So Friday, I will be making finger food for the shower...I'm thinking a seafood theme:lol: . Any Ideas:biggrin2: Shrimp Dip:rolleye11 or crab puffs!!!
