Civil air Patrol

Does anyone else have a son or daughter in the civil air patrol. My son just joined, and it seems to be a really good program for 12-21 year old kids. According to them, he will even get to fly alot and learn to do search and rescue.

my daughter and I are interested in the civil air patrol program. She was in the NJROTC program through part of her freshman year. They won't let her participate in the program because of her homeschooling, so we were curious as to how we would go about enrolling her in the program. Could you also tell us more about the program and how it works?

Thanks for posting the question about the civil air patrol. I have been looking for something similar for my son with no luck. He will be 12 in June and is looking forward to joining.
