Dumb question time

I have been doing home school for about 6 months now, have been to various message boards, etc, and STILL dont know what a ds, dd, or dh is.. can someone please please explain this to me???????

That's not a dumb question! Here's what those letters mean:

ds = dear son
dd = dear daughter
dh = dear husband

I totally understand It took me FOREVER to figure out dd was darling daughter and ds darling son (although personally at times I don't always consider mine "darling")
