It's called Sing, Hear, Learn, Read (something like that!:biggrin2:)
It's for like kindergarteners, teaching them basic reading. I have an opportunity to get this for a great price, but am not sure about it. Have any of you used it before, or heard of anyone else using it?

I think you mean Sing, Spell, Read, Write. I have used it with my 6 year old. I bought the kit that included the kindergarten and 1st grade sets. I am happier with the 1st grade program. It was much more complete. The kindergarten started to frustrate him toward the end of the program. It seemed the books were much harder than the concepts.
I debated about using the 1st grade but it has been great and he is reading well. Hope that helps.

I used this with my oldest son (now 19). It was expensive and had a lot of bells and whistles. I found for my others that a less expensive program (Alpha-phonics) worked just as well, was more straightforward, and took less time. However, SSRW does provide a lot of help for a new homeschooling mom who is teaching reading for the first time, so if you've looked at it and it appeals to you, go for it. You can probably resell it after you're finished with it and recoup at least half of your money.

I hope this helps.
