I have a question for anyone out there. I enrolled my daughter in the association on Friday was wondering now how I get her out of school and start Homeschooling? Also I asked the school if she still can participate in Ocherstra and NJROTC have not heard back on that yet. If she cannot participate in Orcherstra any suggestions on how to teach that course,I myself know how to read music and play the sax,and piano but she plays the violin. If any you one as any suggestions I would really appreciate them.
Thank you, Marianna :smile2:

Marianna, has your registration been approved by the association? If so, you can go to the school and withdraw her now. Regarding violin lessons, you'll probably have to hire someone to continue teaching her that. I doubt the school will let her continue participating.

I faxed the information to Rachel on Friday, and paid the fee. Do they fax back the info that it was approved or should I call and find out??? Thank you Dianna for your help.
Have a Great Day,,

Yes, you need to call her to find out if your application was approved before you withdraw your daughter. If the school needs "proof" that you're registered, they can just call her for verification. If your application isn't approved yet, she won't be able to tell them you're a member.

Dianna,
Thank you , I called and spoke to Rachel and her application was accepted. She told me I can take her out and I should receive my letter within the next week or two depending if they processed my application on last Friday. Thank you for all your advice you have given me through this whole ordeal. Now my daughter can concentrate on her education instead of worrying about the bulling and inapprotriate words that were said to her. Thank you again have a Great Day , Marianna :smile2:

Marianna, I'm glad you were able to withdraw her so quickly. How have things gone the past couple of days?

Dianna,
I'm having problems with my daughters school I've called up there now for 3 days and they keep giving me the run around. I've emailed her counsler I've left phone numbers and no one returns my calls. I'm trying to get her out of that school but they are being difficult. I've asked them to have everything ready and I'll come up there so she can turn her books in but no one seems to know who I should see or talk to. Any suggestions??
I've kept her home since tuesday and we have been homeschooling since then she is doing great and it's nice to have her here and not worry about her. Her school is makeing me very angry thought......:mad2:

Marianna, you need to talk directly to the principal. Just go to the school (without your daughter), tell the principal that you've withdrawn your daughter, hand them the books, ask them if there's anything you need to sign, and then leave. That should be that.

Dianna,
Hi no I have not heard anything the Ass. Principal was suppost to look into it. But I have not herd as of yet,her instuctor for the course was suppost to really push for her to be in the program still. But it's up to the district. And I don't know how they are when it comes to dealing with homeschooled children, If they are flexiable or not. My daughter and I are really enjoying homeschooling though I love it and wish we did this years ago. There are some days that are difficult but we make it through and the next day is always better.
Have a Great day and thank you for your kind words and support through this whole ordeal.
