Costa Rica or Italy?

For several reasons, I've decided to postpone our New York City trip until later in 2007 or possibly 2008. Instead, I'm researching a trip to Costa Rica or Italy in May 2007. If you would like to take an international trip with us, where would you rather go? What would be your preferred length of stay? Realistically and financially, who in your family would be traveling - the whole family, or a parent/child team? Let me know your thoughts so I can start making our plans a reality! :smile2:

I would love to go but it will depend on the cost.. I would prefer Italy because of the historical aspects

Almost everyone voted for Italy, so that's where I'm concentrating my efforts right now. I have a company I'm working with, but I'm still looking around to find less expensive rates. :smile2:

Just wanted to update everyone. I've received a lot of feedback via email from those who are seriously considering going to Italy. Most have told me that they don't think they'd be able to afford going as soon as May of this year, so we're going to put it off until later - maybe the fall of 2007 or spring of 2008. I'm still considering trips for spring of 2007, though, in order to make it up to my NYC folks. I'll post more information about my other ideas later! :smile2:
