Hi Everyone! I am new here. My name is Gwen. My husband, Kevin, and I have 2 children: Lottie(9) and Irie(4). I posted on herea little bit ago, but I just had to say how excited I am to have found this site and made the decision to take Lottie out of a very terrible situation at her school here in Florence, SC. We have decided on books and such and she is so excited! I was just wondering though...Are there any local groups that Lottie might have the opportunity to join so that she can have socialization? I looked under the support group section here, but if I'm not mistaken and I could be, there were none listed for Florence. Thanks a Bunch, Gwen:smile2:

Thanks for posting, Lora. I don't post support group information on my Support Groups page unless I'm asked due to privacy concerns (home phone numbers, addresses, etc), so I don't have a complete listing. I hope more groups will list with me eventually, though, so more homeschoolers will have support. :smile2:

Edited to add: I didn't mean to give the impression that support group information can't be posted here. It can, and should, and I hope everyone keeps posting information they get from public sources. I just don't post it permanently on my Support Groups web page without getting the leader's permission first. Thanks, Lora, for sharing the information you found. :smile2:

Warmly,
Dianna
