Hi ya'll again:wave: I just wanted to post a few lines so I will feel connected. I get lonely here at the house when I work here, homeschool here, mostly stay here......Not that I am complaining mind you, just sometimes I feel lonely. Tomorrow will be the first full week of homeschooling and I have to say that I already see positive changes in Lottie. She just doesn't want to STOP doing homeschooling. Maybe because it is so new, but I think she really 'gets it'! She has devoured Science and Social Studies. Social Studies for her has been Ancient Egypt. Mainly because she wanted to learn about ancient cultures. The week after next will be Ancient Greece with a touch of Greek Mythology. She is 9 and devouring everything she reads and we talk about, and the documentaries we are taping off the History channel. She spits this stuff back at me like she has been doing it for years! Science is Dinosaurs and that child could be a scholar on this subject. She is writing without fussing or whinning. Everything! This hopefully will be the greatest gift I can give her. Sorry to be so long winded, just wanted to share my pride and happiness.

I am so glad that things are going well.. Once the newness wears off she might need some time to deschool. My oldest son is still going through that to some extent.
