my wife and I are considering moving to Columbia from Tampa at the end of May. We currently homeschool our son 4th grade and my daughter is starting k-5 in the fall. If we were to put our son back in school how difficult is it to withdraw and homeschool? We enjoy homeschooling but he says he would like to return to school. It is very easy to homeschool in FLorida. I'm just concerned that if we were to place him in school and have to withdraw for some reason is this difficult? We would also like information on some groups in the Columbia region. Thanks You, Jon

Hi Jon, I know it's been a while since you posted, but I wanted to let you know that SC's homeschooling law is as easy as Florida's, even if it doesn't look like it at first glance. You won't have a problem withdrawing him mid-year, so don't worry about that.
