Eastover Park Play Date

I know that it is short notice but we are having a play date at the Eastover Park Wednesday November 7 at 12:00. If anyone is in the area and would like to join us please come. It's a nice area with plenty of concrete for skates,Skateboards and bikes. There's also an unused baseball field, basketball court, wide open spaces and a tennis court if I can snag the custodian to let us in. Bring any snacks & drinks that your family will need because I do not think that we can get into the building. Hope to see you there!

We have had so much fun that we decided to have another park day next week on Wednesday November 14, 2007 at 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm. Bring your bicycles, skate boards, skates, soccer balls, tennis rackets, baseball balls and bats and enjoy the serenity and wide-open spaces of Eastover Park! This park is gorgeous and has all the amenities (except an open toilet until 3:00) any big-city park could have.Right now it is myself and one other family but we would love to have others join us. We would like to start getting together every couple of weeks so that the kids could play while we parents get together & chat. Join us and we'll have lots of fun! I would also like to let you know that there is now a new Eastover message board.
