Homeschool 4-H

Hi,
Just wanted to post here that Elizawill and I have started a homeschool 4-H. We will have daytime meetings held in Lancaster.So far we have a broad range of kids-teens to 6 yr olds.
My hope is that this will be very kid-directed-They decide (buy vote maybe) which projects/topics they would enjoy most and are most interested in.I hope we will be able to have things like camp-outs (when it's warm enough)
Also,my hope is that it will all be hands-on learning (what's the piont otherwise...LOL) and a great place for our kids to network and meet other kids with similar interests. :smile2:

We really don't have a meeting date or time yet...It will probably be around the middle of the morning on a Wed or a Thurs.
Ashley Hinson from the Clemson Extension will come to our first meeting and sort of "get us going." I've asked her to bring a huge list of activities so that the kids have a lot of projects to pick from.
Ashley did say that the embryo baby chick project would be available and I know there are a lot more.
