Hello! My greater Charlotte area list sometimes has good stuff come through from the Fort Mill area. Here are two posts concerning the formation of a new Classical Conversations group in that area. I have not participated but I hear great things about this.

Fort Mill will have a Classical Conversations group this fall!
Classical Conversations is a once-a-week, supplemental, academic program that provides a committed Christian community of structure and support, along with great fellowship for the students and parents. Based on the Classical Model of education, families meet weekly to introduce new memory work and review old memory work using Classical Conversations¹ Foundations Guide as the heart of the curriculum. A trained Tutor creatively introduces the memory work and leads the classroom time. Parents then work with students at home as a part of their schooling.
The Fort Mill CC program will offer Foundations for grades K4-6th and
Essentials for 3rd-6th. This power-packed program meets once a week for
twelve weeks in the fall and twelve weeks in the winter/spring
months, and will offer year-round enrichment opportunities for students and parents.
More news to come about this exciting opportunity for Fort Mill
Classical Conversations, so be on the lookout for an information meeting
announcement and be sure to tell a friend!!! In the meantime, for more
information about the Classical Conversations program, you can visit
