Is anyone else planning on going to homeschool day at Hollywild? We've never been before and the kids are counting down the days. Maybe we'll get a chance to meet each other in person. I know Jordan would be tickled pink to meet some of the kids she's been getting to know online. :cheer2: We're planning to take a picnic and make a day of it.

Chris, this does sound interesting. I've been thinking about planning a trip there. Maybe this would be a good time... :eusa_thin

I would love to go....I had never known it was there...sounds like a great place! And my oldest graduated from USC in Spartanburg!
BUT, it is too far unless I could share a ride with someone, who doesn't have a car that guzzles gas!!! My truck that I love and may have to sell soon...is killing me in gas cost...20 bucks for half a tank it takes Super premium:mad2:
SO ya'll have fun and if anyone is going through Florence or leaving from somewhere close, I would help pay for GAS!!!:biggrin2:
And chris, your Jordan is a cutie...have read some of her posts, very sweet...I am happy she is making new friends, my son Riley is slowly picking up speed in the joining in!! I just added my daughter Cali, who is 10, she got to post today for the first time and will pass her brother quickly!!! She is bouncing up and down the hall to tell me what she is doing in the Backyard!!!

I'm right there with you sister. I drive the eight seat Chevy Astro and (gulp) it's now fifty bucks or more a fill up! Loved your idea about people coming from the same area buddying up. I'm hoping lots of people from the discussion forum will come. Does anyone know if we have to register to get the group rate that day?
Chris
P.S. What a horrible mother I am! Thank you so much for the kind things you said about Jordan. We think we'll keep her! I know she'll be excited about a new girl close to her own age to chat with.

Hi chris,
It just says on Dianna's description: Advance purchase isn't required, but they request that you register your group in advance. To register, call 864.472.2038.
And which day are you going? 9th or 16th....I might break down and take out a loan:rotfl: for GAS!!

Hi Chris,
I don't think we are going to make it....GAS or FOOD....Might have to borrow my neighbors son's scooter to go to Store if the prices keep going UP....LOL...Now that would be a sight....gonna have to carpool to the store!!! Ya'll have a great time and can't wait to hear Jordan's take on the trip!!
