If you are planning on coming to the Coastal Home Educators Conference next Friday and Saturday, Joyce has posted the Speaker/Vendor Workshop Schedule for CHEC 2008 (a Parenting & Homeschool Conference) online at www.GoCHEC.org (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BeaufortHSTimes/www.GoCHEC.org) . Speakers will be giving presentations on topics such as Remediating Academic Weaknesses, How to Control Anger, Using Scripture in Child Training, the Charlotte Mason method, hands-on MathUSee, and more. The conference is next Friday and Saturday, May 30-31 at Community Bible Church on Parris Island Gateway. The public is invited and children are welcome.

I attended today, and it was very informative. I went to a couple seminars, and I am also interested in the MathUSee program.
