Hi Dianna,

I thought that maybe in all your years of experience, you might be able to answer this question. I have made reservations for the Fantasmic! dinner (really lunch) package; however, my son will be in a YES class during the time of our reservations. I really want to keep the reservations that day because we will already be in DHS for his class. Do you know if they will allow me to pack up his meal? Someone on the DISboards also said that they may not seat us if we don't have a complete party. Do you think/know if I explained the situation they would be more willing to accommodate this? Thanks for any information!

I would call Disney Dining or try asking the Mom's Panel on the Disney website. They are very helpful. I feel they will work with you as they want your vacation to be magical.

Robin, Disney is really good at customer service, so I would just call the restaurant and see what they can do for you since you're doing the YES program. The main Disney dining number should be able to give you the number of the restaurant.

Well, I called Disney today, and unfortunately, I had to change my plans. The guest services person informed me that if my son was not present at the time, it would count as a "no-show" and we would be charged a cancellation fee, and he would not get a ticket. What a bummer... At least we were able to make reservations for a different day, but it's definitely a less convenient choice. Anyhow, I wanted to post here in case anyone else might encounter this.
