vacation spots

What is your favorite vacation spot in SC? Do you live close to anything fun? I like to go places with my family. Do you?

I LOVE Oak Island beach. We go there at least once a year if not twice.

I've never heard of Oak Island! Am i weird or what!! I love to go to the mountains!! I love the waterfalls in Hendersonville! (At least i think that that's where they are!)

actually Hanna not you aren't weird; most ppl haven't heard of Oak Island but its a pretty big Island. It's got 3 beaches on it that are conected. Have you heard of Caswell Beach, Yaupon Beach, and LOng Beach? Those are the 3 beaches that are on the Island. You go over a huge bridge to get to the Island, once you are on the other side then WELCOME TO OAK ISLAND!!!


Have you ever heard of Southport? Southport is right outside Oak Island. We go there alot for shopping and seafood restaurants.

oh I love camping too!!! We haven't gone in a LONG time. I want to go w/ my cousins some time in the Fall.

I like to go to the beach it does not matter where. I love to search the tide pools to see what different creatures I can find in them. I found a pungent crab shell one day that cut my finger. :cool2:

When I was little I used to try and catch tadpoles in the tide pools!

Dont get me started about tad poles I can get verbose about them. I mean I have studied about them alot. :lol:

I dont know if you know this or not, but not all frogs come from tadpoles. They are hatched as baby frogs instead of tadpoles.

Have you ever been oblivious when you are somewhere and you don't know someone is watching you? I did once when I was at the beach I was doing gymnastics and the ppl who were next to us were watching me!

When we go on vacation I have to aquiesce with my mom to go were she wants us to go.

My favorite vacation spots are beaches that are austere with noone or anything there.The place needs to be untouched by humans.

I love the beach because when you look out over the ocean it looks desolate. Then when you go under the water you can see all the schools of fish swimming together.

Every time I go to the mountains a great feeling of euphoria comes over me. I love it there!! It's so peaceful and beautiful!

I feel the same way about the beach, an exuberant feeling comes over me when we get to the beach. We will be leaving next Friday to go to the beach for the weekend and I know that a feeling of joy will come over me when I get there.
