I was just wondering how many others used the internet as a curriculum source for hsing? Our finances were a little stretched this year, so I had to cut down on my curriculum choices. But as I started looking on the internet, I was amazed at how much is out there (and I am talking about free items.) There is so much that it can be overwhelming, so I have narrowed down the sites I use. But I am always open to new websites that others my find, so if you have found a particular site or sites that are beneficial to you, please share them with me.

Hi, and welcome to our forums! I use the internet a lot for looking up information and keeping up to date with the different resources available. I also use it to talk to other homeschoolers (like in this forum :smile2: ).

I use it as part of our curriculum, but not as much as we use other resources. It does get overwhelming at times, but I agree that it's a wonderful tool. Many of my favorite websites are listed on my links page at: www.carolinahomeschooler.com/links.htm (http://www.carolinahomeschooler.com/links.htm) . Check it out when you get a chance.

Also, when my budget is thin, I use my public library a lot. I believe that anyone can get a top-notch education (through college-level) with a library card and time to read. That's about as low-budget as one can get! :smile2:

Warmly,
Dianna
