Have any of you read the Lord of the Rings books?? i have the series, but I haven't read them yet. I'm on the second chapter of the first one. I've seen the movies though...

I have not read the books, But I have seen all the movies. I like the movies but I do not have the patients to read the books. What other movies are you interested in? I have an abundance of movies and my favorites sci-fi movies. :biggrin2:

no I have not seen the movies because I get nightmares real easy and my mom won't let me see PG-13 movies until she approves of them first. It doesn't look like my taste anyway.

I like movies like "The Greatest Game Ever Played" that just came out. YOu know, like historical fiction or even true stories. I really liked that "Lord of the Rings" movies as well! :) :D

Has anyone ever watched "7th Heaven"? I have. I think that it is very verbose with all of the scenes having people always talking to each other. Everyone is always talking with someone. :rolleyes2

Some people that I know are adamant that 7th Heaven is the best television show on tv. I personnal have never seen it. :biggrin2:

My family is very meticulous about what TV shows that we watch. We are very careful not to watch something if we even think that it might not be very good.

I watch 7th Heaven sometimes not that much I don't watch TV that much. My mom has a rule that only on the weekends I can watch b/c if I watch during the week it distracts me form my studies plus I don't have time during the week.

If I am watching a movie like that my parents have to watch it first then tell me when to close my eyes. That is with Star Wars. If I were to watch LOTR then I would close my eyes throughout the whole thing.
