How to join us, getting an avatar, and why your messages are delayed

This is a special place for Carolina Homeschooler children and youth to chat and get to know each other. If you'd like to participate, ask your parents to read the information in the Forum News folder (the first forum up at the top) so you can complete the registration process.

If your parents have any questions, tell them they can contact me via the Contact Us link at the bottom of each forum page.

NOTE: Every message in this forum is moderated. That means that your messages won't post until I send them through. This prevents spammers from posting unacceptable messages.

I just wanted to explain how to get an avatar (the small picture that goes under your name).

Once you're logged in, go to the User CP in the top navigation bar near the top of the page (look below the picture and find the navigation bar that says User CP, FAQ, Members List, etc).

Once you're in the User CP, look for the links on the right and click on Edit Avatar. You can choose an avatar from several different categories. I'll add more soon! :smile2:
