We are going to take the kids to family members houses for trick or treating. Then we have a local trail in town that businesses give out candy. My kids do dress up. This year the boys are going to be firemen and Ansley we are thinking about Pippi Longstockings.
We are also having a homeschool party Tuesday with a few friends. We plan to watch The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown, read some Halloween books, do a mad lib, colorin sheet and play some games.

Lorna, my children went to a party at my niece's house, and two church festivals/"trunk or treats". They came back with so much candy that it'll take until next Halloween to eat it! :rolleyes2 I'm seriously considering sneaking a lot of it out of the house while they're not looking.

They had a great time, though. Much more fun than in past years, so I guess the festivals will be our new tradition from now on. :smile2:

How did your Halloween festivities go?

Went great for us. The party was wonderful and the kids had loads of fun. It was relaxed too. Then on Halloween night we went to a local trail and then took Ansley to dance lessons. The rest of the family went to supper while she was there. Then to my dads and his sisters and home. Nothing big but fun.
