palm mute is a guitar thing you kinda mute the string but not quite so it makes a realy cool deep stormy thunder sound its awsome.

I play the piano pretty well. My step-Grandma said that she wants me to take lessons, but I'm scared it might be too hard. I just started to play the guitar. I'm not very good, it sounds like two cats fighting. :lol: I had my moms guitar but it only had four strings, so I got a new one for Christmas.

It's an acoustic. I want to be able to play it well....I'm just really far away from that. lol

:lol: I will! I've gotten better at it now. I've learned a few chords, and they don't sound too bad.

That will take me forever to save up for one! Bummer! I guess I'll get my butt in gear and learn to play my acoustic so I can get my electric. I saw this really awesome guitar at a guitar shop that was for $600. Where did you get yours?
I got mine at Hollways in Monroe but it took six months to save up for it but I was mowing lawns a classic way for a kid to make monney lol.So what kind of guitar are you looking at?

(This is mainly for Sam and Ange) If you can play an acustic you can pretty much play an electric...right? I kno they're different but when it comes to playing them, it's about the same isn't it?

^^^yeah...except that you have a louder sound and the strings are softer

no not realy the acustic is harder to play because the strings are harder to hold down thats why I had to play the acustic for a year before geting my other one.

well yeah you got your strats your less pauls your gibsons your sg,double cuts and so manny more that would take about a month to type so there ya go.

a cuatro is kinda like a guitar, but not. it has four strings instead of six and has a different sound. I hope to learn how to play one.

I'm learning how to play the harmonica, but I need a new book for it because I've learned almost all of the songs. If I could learn how to play another instumint it would have to be the bassguitar.
