Do you do any crafts? I like to scrapbook when I can find the time. It really takes time to do a good job.
I just to cross stitch a good bit but don't have time now.

I used to cross-stitch a lot, but I haven't done it in years. That's about as creative as I get! :confused2

I scrapbook too. Finding time, however, is difficult and I am pretty far behind. I also took up knitting a few years ago. It is a great thing to do while waiting anywhere...doctors office, baseball practice, etc.

I scrapbook and cross stitch. Recently my daughter has started cross stitching and I signed up to be a mentor on the DMC site and they are sending out some free cross stitch kits to us.
Here's the link if anyone else is interested...

I have never tried to knit. Is it hard?

Knitting wasn't hard at all for me. A fellow homeschooling Mom taught me in five minutes because she had a rhyme to go with it. It just clicked.
It is a very peaceful hobby...there are some great books out there. My favorite is "the knitters bible" by Clarie Crompton. I was able to learn other stiches from there.

Lora,
My daughter wants to learn to knit. Could you please post the rhyme? I think it would help her alot.

I like to sew and knit. My true love is reading though, not really a craft. u
Unless, I am reading about a craft, which I do very often.

No problem...
Through the door and around the back,
Out the window and off jumps jack.
Hope it helps...it made it a breeze for me. I still catch myself saying it.:smile2:

I scrapbook and rubber stamp! Actually, I teach rubber stamping classes! I sew a little too - but it's not something I really 'enjoy' doing!

Hello girls,
I sew and I mean anything from clothes to drapperies Upholster and refurbish furniture when I have time but my favorite hobbies are crochetting -knitting- I even incorporate that in with my jewelry making used to cross stitch and make rugs make candles and candy during the hollidays. But right now being care taker to M-I-L and HS Mary my time is very limited the jewlery is small and I can start and stop easily. and I have Mary stringing beasds for her dress up tea parties

I love to scrapbook also and have been scrapping for about 8 years. I dabble in some other crafts, but scrapbooking is my love:smile2:
