Just wondering if anyone else here does this. I ran across this site the other day http://www.letterboxing.org/index.php and I thought it really sounded like fun. The one I was interested in the most is the postal letterboxes.

No, we prefer geocaching. It's almost the same thing, but participants use a GPS to locate a hidden cache. There are different types of caches - sometimes you exchange items, sometimes you just sign a log, sometimes you find "travel bugs" and help them travel to other places. So much fun, and educational, too! For more info, go to www.geocaching.com (http://www.geocaching.com)

We tried it a couple of times while living in CT. One was in our local library and it was kind of neat to know that there was a "secret" hidden in the stacks! Another one we tried we could never find, but it was still fun searching. Maybe we'll give it another go here...thanks for the info!
