    In a charming tale of an unlikely friendship, a young boy, Glaston,



    befriends a peace-loving, poetry-spouting dragon near the village



    of Guildermere. The villagers, filled with fear, enlist the help of



    St. George to slay the dragon. Can Glaston convince the village



    that his new friend is harmless before it’s too late?

    The Carlos Museum in Atlanta, GA, invites homeschoolers to explore the new American galleries with ancient Maya, Andean, and Inka cultures and Walking in The Footsteps of Our Ancestors: The Melion-Clum Collection of Modern Southwestern Pottery. This event will be held on April 18 from noon to 3:00 pm. Visitors may tour the galleries with museum docents, participate in a creative drama workshop on the Popol Vuh from the ancient Maya, or have an opportunity to make a feather shield.
