Fifty soldiers arrived on a remote hilltop in the summer of 1755 with order to build a fort that would guard the western frontier of the English colony of North Carolina. Learn about the lives of those men and their Catawba Indian allies through on-going demonstrations of camp life as well as featured musket and cannon firings.
Program runs 10am-4pm Saturday and 10am-3pm Sunday. Musket firing at 11am and 2pm. Cannon firings at 12pm and 3pm.
