    EXHIBIT: Creating: Quilts and Crafts of the Lakota
    Twenty eye-dazzling quilts and 32 items of apparel and dance regalia made in traditional style by 20th-century Lakota artisans are on display in this exhibit. The Museum of Anthropology at Wake Forest University shares the exhibit with Delta Arts Center, with each venue displaying about half of the quilts and crafts.     LECTURE: The Legacy of John Anderson’s 45 Years at Rosebud: Photographers and Artists Preserving Lakota Cultural Heritage
    The Museum of Anthropology at Wake Forest University presents Claes Jacobson and Eva Anderson, Swedish historians and curators, who will discuss how European immigrants to America documented Native Americans, particularly the Lakota Sioux, through painting and photography. Jacobson will also discuss the crafts on display in Creating: Quilts and Crafts of the Lakota, and his personal work with tribal members. Admission is free.
