The Greenville Drive will recognize and celebrate homeschool families at the Drive game on April 14 at Fluor Field.
During this game, they’ll honor all homeschool parents and seniors. One parent from each family and all graduating seniors will receive complimentary tickets.
As part of recognition, we will select a homeschool parent to be the Honorary Game Captain (which will include a pregame visit to home plate with the umpires and managers!) and 2 willing children over 10 to serve as our Honorary Batboy/girl (which will include spending time during the game in the Drive dugout and doing the regular duties of a batboy).
During the game they'll also have an interview with a homeschool parent guest so that interested fans can become more familiar with the homeschool experience.
As part of the pre-game festivities all homeschool athletic teams will have the opportunity to march around the field, starting at 6:30 pm. Teams will be able to register at the time they order tickets and their names will be shown on the Drive Vision. More information to follow for registered team contacts.
Interested homeschool families can take advantage of this opportunity by visiting or calling the Drive Ticket Office (864) 240-4528 and identifying themselves as a homeschool family from whichever association they're members of. Complimentary tickets for one parent and graduating seniors will be set aside, along with adjacent seats purchased for other family members or guests. Reserved Seat tickets are available for $7 each, which reflects a $1 savings off the normal price for homeschoolers.
Athletic teams, or other groups/families, are welcome to get tickets together by consolidating their ticket requests and payment before calling or visiting the Drive Box Office.
