    Homeschool Day at the Capitol
    April 30, 2014
    Meet in Columbia on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 for Homeschool Day at the Capitol. There will be plenty of tour opportunities at both the State Capitol Building and the Governor's Mansion/Green. There will also be special tours at SC Confederate Relic Room. The cost is free, but pre-registration for tours is mandatory. Pre-register at office@schea.net. Your email must include the name of the tour, number of attendees and the time requested to tour. These tours fill up quickly, so don't delay.
    * Tours of the Capitol 9:30, 10:00, 11:00, 11:30, 1:30, 2:00, 2:30, 3:00, 3:30.
    * Tours of the Governor's Mansion 10:00, 10:30, 11:00, 2:00, 2:30
    Come meet your legislators, enjoy the homeschool bands, sit in on workshops, have a try at the scavenger hunt, enter an original business card. More information is available at the SCHEA website: www.schea.net

    Greenville Peace Center Performance
    My Heart in a Suitcase is a dramatic adaptation of Anne Lehmann Fox's experiences as a 12-year-old on the Jewish Kindertransport out of Germany during WWII. It's targeted to grades 4-8, but younger and older students are welcome to attend. (No children under 3.) Curriculum Connection: History, Social Studies, Drama, and Language Arts.
    We have seats reserved for the noon performance. Registration is required. See our website for more information.
