Coastal Home Educators Conference June 12th-14th Beaufort, SC at Community Bible Church

Kicks off Thursday night June 12th at 6:00 pm is the Curriculum Show & Tell which is open to the public at no cost. Immediately following at 7 pm, is the Intro to Homeschooling Seminar, with Dr. Carl Broggi. The cost for for this separate seminar is $5.00 per person to cover materials.
The Early Bird cost for CHEC is $10.00 if you register before March 31st. After March 31st the cost is $13.00.
Friday and Saturday - Workshops, Vendor Hall and BOOK Blast Used Curriculum Sale. You must be registered to enter Vendor Hall and the BOOK Blast Used Curriculum Sale.
Your registration includes all workshops and your spouse attends free of charge.
Vendor Hall 10-7:00 pm on Friday and 9-3 pm on Saturday.
The BOOK Blast runs on Friday from 9 until 3 and on Saturday from 9 until noon.
Childcare is available with advanced registration. Deadline is June 6th.
The CHEC Buck deadline will be June 2nd. All BOOK Blast sellers must be registered for the conference.
Our conference is child friendly and we welcome you to bring your little ones with you. There is no charge for anyone under 18.

It's History Alive! at Chautauqua - June 13 - 22 - A ten-day - two-weekend festival of 25 FREE shows and other events performed by nationally acclaimed historical interpreters. Debate the Constitution with Patrick Henry, escape from slavery with Robert Smalls, join Clara Barton on the battlefield and then save the SC Sea Islands, and question Harry Truman as he ends World War II. Non-stop live history and fun for the whole family. And you, the audience are always a part of the show. If you like to be held spellbound, entertained, and enlightened - you're going to love Chautauqua History Alive. You laugh – you cry – you just flat out have a good time – because it’s not just history – its personal.

You can catch all the shows on either weekend - or spread them out over the 10 day Festival.

Shows in Greenville, Fountain Inn, Travelers Rest, Spartanburg SC and Asheville NC ($4 admission in Asheville). Many evening shows are outdoors and families can bring lawn seating and picnics.
