You don't have to bring proof of homeschooling.

Dianna,

I know I have seen this in the past, but thought I would ask and you might update on the front page:

Is parking free or not if you come from off Disney site to go to the educational day?

In the past, they've provided a waiver for parking for off-site guests on the day of the program only at the park where the program is taking place. Since this could change, I always wait until a month or two out to make sure it's still their policy and will let travelers know.

Warmly,

Dianna

HAPPY SATURDAY Dianna :D

I pray all is well...

I was reading about priority registration on the website... states we will be able to reserve FP+ times 60 days prior to arrival... is this still the case and if so, please let me know the process we should follow...

Thanks much,

Joy

Hi Joy,

The way I understand how it's working right now is:

- Families who are staying at a Disney Resort can plan their FP+ times 60 days in advance.

- Families who are staying at our group hotel (the Disney Dolphin) or off-property have to use MyMagic+ kiosks each day to plan their FastPasses as they arrive at the park.

This may change. I hope that the Dolphin will be integrated into the system by the time we go and we'll be able to plan in advance, but I haven't heard anything one way or the other.

Warmly,
Dianna

Hi Dianna :)

Truly appreciate all the answers to my numerous questions

If staying at a Disney resort, would we need to link tickets in MDE {my Disney experience} before being able to make FP+ selections?

Thanks again,

Joy

Hi Joy,

You're welcome. :)  I don't mind, so ask away!

Yes, you'd link your tickets in MDE to reserve your FastPass+ and link everything to your Magic Bands (you'll get them if you stay at a Disney Resort).

Warmly,

Dianna

Will we receive the tickets before the 60 day FP+ window? or can we make the FP+ without having the tickets linked to our Magic Bands? FYI...we're staying on site...at Pop Century.

We're excited to be able to join your group this year!

Thanks!

Stefanie

Hi Stefanie,

To receive your tickets in time to reserve your FastPasses 60 days in advance, you'd need to meet the early registration deadline for tickets. See http://www.carolinah...atravelwdw.html for the date. I'll work hard to mail the tickets for those families in time for the 60-day mark.

Warmly,

Dianna

Question:

I see this:

If I have a 1-year-old with me, can I carry him in a sling so I can attend a program with my school-age child?

No, siblings can't attend unless they're registered for the program.

I will have a nursing 10 mth old, does that mean I will not be able to attend with any of my 4 children?  (Ages 5, 7, 10, 11)  We have two older 19 and 21 (Sept 16th) can they stand in?  Does the 5 and 7 year old need two parents?  Trying to figure out the dynamics.

Hi Tammy,

Your 10-month-old won't be able to attend, but one of your older children can stand in. If you register for the How Things Move program, two adults will be needed for your 5- and 7-year-old (due to ride requirements). If you register for the Synergy program, only one adult is fine.

Warmly,

Dianna

Hi Dianna :)

How are you?

We're in the process of planning out our time at Disney... YAY!!

Question: when will we find out which educational class we're assigned too? want to make sure to plan our park days accordingly...

Thanks much,

Joy

Hi Joy, I won't be able to confirm until I have 10 students confirmed for each program. Many families are registering earlier this year, so I hope to start confirming in the next month or two.

Warmly,

Dianna
