2006 Scholarships, Awards, and Achievements

Homeward Education Association proudly graduated 141 seniors this year at its graduation ceremony on June 3rd at USC Sumter's Nettles Auditorium. The 2005-2006 class valedictorian was Janda Yanzer of Moncks Corner and salutatorian was Lauren Johnson of Sumter.
 
Palmetto Homeschool Association held their first ever graduation ceremony at USC-Lancaster on May 20th, filling the Stevens Auditorium to near capacity with proud friends and family. The Lancaster News covered the event. This year PHA had two Palmetto Fellows Scholars, and helped students obtain well-deserved state scholarships, such as LIFE, HOPE, and Lottery Tuition Assistance Grants. Some of PHA's graduating seniors will be joining the Army, Navy, and attending the Citadel. Others are attending Clemson, USC, and North Greenville College.
 
Palmetto State Association of Homeschools congratulates their graduating class of 2006: Erin Catherine Carter; William Lawrence Moore, III; John Dustin Shore; and Matthew Steven Wilborn. Their commencement ceremony was held on June 2nd at Crestview Baptist Church, Gaffney, with over 135 family and friends in attendance.
 

Grace Homeschool Association announces that its 2005-2006 graduation was held in Florence on June 3rd, with over 550 in attendance. This year's valedictorian was Heather Brinson from Rock Hill, and salutatorian was Allyson Harrell from Johns Island.
 
Homeward Education Association is proud to announce their Palmetto Fellows Scholars for the 2005-2006 school year: Lydia Aluri, Jamshid Fleetwood, Lauren Johnson, David Kent, Joseph Melchers, Daniel Thompson, Kathryn White, and Janda Yanzer.
 
Grace Homeschool Association is proud to announce its 2005-2006 Palmetto Fellows scholars. They are: Jennifer Robinson, Heather Brinson, Allyson Harrell, Tyler Huff, Phillip Bragg, and Bailey Ann Marker.

Congratulations to Emily Lane Carter, a 2004 graduate of Palmetto State Association of Homeschools, on maintaining an overall GPA of 4.0 at Winthrop University. Emily is a rising Junior at Winthrop, and is majoring in Business.
