Alfie, the Turtle That Disappeared

Hanafuda: Japanese Flower Cards

Learn about hanafuda cards, a style of traditional Japanese playing cards designed with different flower patterns connected to the months of the year. Students will learn how they’re used to play different games, design their own card, and watch a brief play session of koi koi, a popular hanafuda game.
