Join us for our field trip to the Columbia Museum of Art! We’ll tour the new Van Gogh and His Inspirations exhibition and enjoy a session in their studio, creating our own work of art!
When: October 30
Where: Columbia Museum of Art, SC
Registration Deadline: September 31
The timing of events will be provided later, but plan for late morning/early afternoon.
The Van Gogh and His Inspirations exhibition pairs 12 paintings and drawings by Van Gogh side-by-side with a collection of works by artists who inspired him and influenced his work. We’ll get a guided tour of the gallery, then participate in a hands-on art activity related to the exhibition.
We’ll do an online book group to prepare for this event. Students who participate in the book group and field trip will receive letters of completion from Carolina Homeschooler, documenting participation, topics covered, and credits earned.
This event is limited to member students in kindergarten and up, and their parents. Younger siblings, grandparents, other guests can’t attend. No drop-offs.
Cost, Cancellations, and Refund Policy
The cost is $15 per person (students and parents). If you attend the field trip, your total payment will be refunded.
No refunds for cancellations or no-shows, for any reason (car issues, medical issues, whatever). Your payment will be donated to the museum.
To put it simply – this field trip is free, if you attend. If you don’t, then it’s not.
