    YMCA Camp Greenville, located in the Blue Ridge Mountains about an hour drive from Greenville, SC and Asheville, NC is excited to offer our popular Home School Adventure Day! Set on a ridge overlooking the Carolina Peidmont,Y Camp Greenville features 1400 acres of land at 3200 feet.
    Join us for a full day of activities supervised by our trained Camp staff. Lunch is optional. Meals are served buffet style in our Dining Hall, as well as an option for vegetarians and gluten free diets that let us know in advance. PROGRAM AND PRICE OPTIONS 1Day Price: $15 per child + $6 for lunch in the dining hall, or bring your own sack lunches Overnight $45 per child, $20 for each adult
    Each additional child receives a 10% discount!
    Participants with a financial need are encouraged to apply for scholarship to help cover program fees.

    Ages 6-12. $8/child.
    Conservation groups have designated 2014 as the Year of the Salamander. In this program we'll learn about the lifestyles and adaptations of salamanders, as well as what can be done to conserve them. We'll search the Old Beech Nature Trail for the hiding places of these secretive amphibians and observe them in the wild.
    Preregistration is required. Get a registration form and send it in with payment to sign up.

    The Museum of York County at 4621 Museum Rd.,located in Rock Hill, SC will be hosting a Biology Dissection Lab for 8th grade-12th grade homeschooled students, beginning March 4th 2 pm-4 pm and continuing every Tuesday in March. Labs will be led by Cynthia Spratley a former Biology teacher at Lake Pointe Academy, and currently a Museum Program Manager. Cost is $65 nonrefundable deposit, by February 20th!
    Total due is $99 for Museum members, $125 for non-members minus the $65 deposit/balance will be due by the first day of class. Sibling discounts available. Four sepecimens will be dissected: earthworm, grasshopper, crayfish, and a frog. Class is limited to 15 and must have 10 students minimum. Deposits will be returned if minimum is not met.
