  1. This is our first year of homeschooling and it's going quite well. With one exception: social studies. I can't seem to find a solid curriculum or resource for 4th grade. I'm open to teaching either NC or SC history (we split our time between the two states) without ordering an expensive curriculum geared toward a traditional school. Any ideas? I'm open to piecing together something more comprehensive but I'm just not sure of the direction/complexity I need at this age. Thanks for any and all help.
  2. From the US Post Office: The Rosa Parks Education Kit tells your students the story of one brave lady who stood up to a nation of intolerance. Through an in-depth narrative of her life, the Kit posits thought-provoking discussion questions that get kids talking about civil rights, citizenship, and equal opportunity. The Kit also includes a wealth of teacher prompts and student activities. We hope you'll take advantage of this dynamic new resource. The Rosa Parks Education Kit is now available at www.USPSConnection.com. Dianna
