  1. Looking to make some connections in the Simpsonville area. We are play oriented, with lots of crafts, art, music and physical outdoor play. 11 yr old daughter, gets along well with all ages, loves small children, wants to be a daycare provider! We are looking to discover SC State, moved from Canada and know very little about the area. Love short mountain hikes, waterfalls, play parks, and adventures of all kinds. Do you want to build a snowman?
  2. We have a child who is four years old and currently has an IEP through Child Find. He is homeschooled but we agreed in his IEP that he would receive some special education services for one hour twice per week with his local public school. Long story short, we were told by our contact through Child Find that if we did decide NOT to put him into full-time public school in kindergarten that we would have to drop his IEP all together and discontinue services. Homeschooling was not an option if we want any state support for him. Does anyone have experience with this or know it to be true/not true? Thank you for any advice!
